Blue skies here.  The only rain is of ash leaves, as that species is near full color and 1/4 dropped.  Hope we get some decent rain, though I'm not optimistic.
Current flow numbers for today on the Sandy River:
Median:      154 cfs
25th percentile:  91 cfs
Lowest on record:  39 cfs, in 1939.
Current flow:  43  cfs

Just been dumping moisture in waves here since yesterday eve. Nothing out of the ordinary in the wind department as we’re used to that kind of thing along the coast. It’ll be interesting to see how long the power holds up as especially with all the rain that’s yet to come.

Down to 986mb as of 12z analysis. Looks like it shed the cold front, but still has the warm frontal boundary so obviously not subtropical.

Easy there brother. We've become used to it from nearly every coastal storm that just happens to graze by us to the one nearly five years ago that brought total destruction to our neighborhood. And we’ve become just as used to our town forgetting our neighborhood even exists on the map.

Outside of the coast inland areas don't get another pulse of a stronger LLJ until tonight. At that point its just a matter of how well we're mixing. But this seems to be going about par thus far.

Lol... Which mean almost all of them (115) since I've retired that part of my business!  Going to be fun winter mornings for me this year... Still lots of forecasting, but no schools...
