Just like with yesterday with the amount of cold air in place I'd rather take that chance than have it whiff to the east and everyone gets nothing. Although with snowpack on the ground a big rainstorm would be disastorous.

Big picture a day ago the consensus was that we wait until February 10 and beyond for next major threats.  Today, tracking a threat within 5 days.  That is all you can ask for at this point.

Not much of a shift, just a hair really - it is just a more consolidated precip "shield" essentially, cutting off the western extent. Normal waffling at this point

The signal is there, and there’s lots of model agreement on a potential Miller A. That's all I really care about until we get to Wednesday. Then we can start ironing out the smaller details (placement, strength, etc)

I got 30” on LI
