Sunday looks like one of those classic early spring DC days with low 40s north and low 70s south and lots of pain trying to figure out exactly where the front sets up.

Hopefully it sets up north of here. I'd much prefer 70 to 45!

Complete fail all forecasts past 24 hours here. Yesterdays high was 48-50 from all the news/radio and internet. Then around lunch they started backing off to 45....then 42.....nope. High yesterday was 35.7, almost 15 degrees off. Then this am we have gotten stuck in the freezer while others warmed overnight as forecasters called for, 52 Blacksburg, 50 Roanoke, 43 Lewisburg at 7 am....I woke at 6:45 to 27.5 lol. And looking at all the PWS in the area they too were in upper 20's from here all the way east to Lexington. North of us 40's, south of us 40's and 50's. Strange.

We've got to be on record pace for February warmth.  3 of the past 5 days have been at least +24F.  Tomorrow might make it 4 out of 6.

DCA is +6.2 through the 10th :lmao:

Since it's all we got, what's the latest on the wind tonight into tomorrow?

EDIT: looks like our Watch turned into a warning this morning. Bring it on!

That's what I'm saying. I looking forward to it. Since snow season looks to be past us. I'm rooting for flooding rain storms and wind events. Might as well hope for a record warm February, also. At least it's something interesting to watch.

Still 51 here in Vienna.  Pretty amazing temperature gradient.  Looks like we may not tap into the warm weather before the front goes through.  May be interesting tonight/tomorrow with the wind.  Going to be some lines down...

I am supposed to catch an 8:45AM flight out of BWI tomorrow morning to Mexico. What are the chances the wind delays/cancels my flight? :(

I'd be more concerned with the "wind" delays the water in Mexico may cause you for the trip back!   :yikes:
