  1. .3" yesterday evening. Per normal operating procedures the good stuff missed to my east.
  2. Low of 50F. Yesterday was near perfect.
  3. Glad I planned a trip up north next week. That forecast for here is just awful.
  4. I just started my car and will now let it run overnights.
  5. Not zero, but a far cry from the 15"+ of the DC metro areas. In the past 3 days, I have as much rain as fell the 3 months prior.
  6. 52F and feels glorious with the breeze. Everything is Ireland green.
  7. It produced the best weather of the day in winchester. Nice gusty heavy rain. No thunder though. Unfortunately, that line developed east of my yard. Would have been a fun way to cap this off.
  8. Lol. Im doing ok today. But mother nature takes summers off where I'm at.
  9. The area just west of winchester, and east of me, is getting pounded with rain.
  10. Getting some decent rains and breeze in winchester atm. Hopefully this makes it out to my area.
  11. 1.3" so far. It's a solid rain event, very beneficial. But its just been some moderate rain at times. I'll take it, but this is a rather boring event.
  12. Finally started to actually rain when I left for work. Achieved my max rate of .26"/ hr. Lol. Up to .85" now. Or about what fell in 10 minutes in the metro areas this morning. So much for being NW.....
  13. Lol. As I expected, what a fail out here. There has been nothing heavier than light rain at any point. And only more of it to the SW poised to move through. .6" so far over 9+ hours.
  14. Always good for a laugh when areas 100 miles further away from Ida remnants are getting crushed while we have yet to get sprinkled on. Lol.
  15. 1.05" yesterday evening brings total since May 3 to 7.32". Nearly 3" of that in the last 2 weeks, or since right before Henri. It has turned decidedly "wetter" out here.
  16. Didn't realize you're part of the county had been missing them too. Hopefully, we all get a good dousing tomorrow. Cloudy in Winchester.
  17. I can't think of a more terrifying scenario than of children swimming in, or playing near, local water spots with an unexpected and unseen threat such as this around. Almost no one at this latitude would even suspect this. It's a tragedy waiting to happen.
  18. So it's close to a residential area, and the concern is that rednecks come and shoot up the area?? That is a whole new level of stupidity. Of course, why should I be surprised. These are the same idiots who are being outsmarted by an alligator.
  19. Why on earth has no one trapped that thing, before it ends up killing a child?
  20. Some big rain totals over some mountainous terrain. Bad combination.
