    Got to see first flakes yesterday here and snow flurries while getting our Christmas tree at the farm. It was a great day. I'll be in NC Tuesday. I'll be sick if I miss an accumulating event here. Just sick. I take solace in knowing it likely won't pan out in the Valley.

    Im out in Indiana, but it looks like a good drought-denter in-progress at home. Nearby wx station at 1.25" so far. Great to finally see a meaningful system.

    Reached freezing for the first time this season. Perfect weather weekend.

    That's the first "pouring" rain in months. Looks like i got a little over .5". Better than I expected.

    Surprisingly, Blackwater / Davis was near peak color this weekend. Picked a great time to go out.

    Up to .56 today. Add in the .10" I got last evening and this has actually turned into a solid event. We need a lot more to make up for the past 2 months, but it's a start.

    First time I've seen wet ground in over a month. And it's pretty rare here to see rain rotate in from the NE.

    You have to get them on the second jump. They take a while to recover between jumps. It's like me doing sets of squats. Lol.
