  1. The relatively strong performance of Frederick County VA does not.
  2. If you like hiking and the outdoors then you'll love this area. The mountains are great and it's fall beauty is top notch. If you love interesting weather - besides wind - then you moved to the wrong place. You're in a little better spot than me; Winchester is usually the dividing line of total crap to it's south and getting better to it's north.
  3. They separate the 95 corridor area from the Shen/Piedmont region etc
  4. Seemed to have missed all the heavier rains this morning. Picked up .23". Combined with the .5 that fell last evening though, it's the biggest rain event here in ages. Hopefully, we add more this weekend.
  5. A driving steady rain this late afternoon. Awesome!
  6. There has been zero snow left here for days now.
  7. I want you to know it will bring me no pleasure to see your spirit get broken.
  8. That makes your batting average like Ted Williams compared to us. Lol
  9. The next time one of those works out for us out here will be the first time.
  10. It would be a lot more fun. Then we wouldn't be so jaded constantly expecting the worst outcome.
  11. Looks very Feb 9, 2010. Barely anything here and 2' in Baltimore. There is nothing I hate more than Miller Bs.
  12. In 18,000 BC this would've been 10" of snow on 20:1 ratios.
  13. Rain about to end here. Almost .5". This was a better event than I thought it'd be. Much needed and I won't miss the salt that covered everything.
  14. How did Staunton only get 21.5" in 1996?
  15. The weather just hasn't been the same since the completion of the Trans Continental Railroad.
  16. So it really looks like I will end up with just 7" (and half of that was sleet), even less snow than last year. And it's now a certainty that I end up with the 10th consecutive below normal snow winter in a row.
  17. Good thing we're so good at threading needles!
