I haven’t hit 100 either.  Rounded, I’ll go 99, 99, 98 for the heat wave.  My station struggles when it is humid.  2024 in the dry heat I had several 100s.

ah ok - yeah I mean we are talking about a matter of a degree or two.  They are 99 at 5pm ob, so maybe one more push lol.

Just to your east in DE was baking today, slightly lower dews popped the temps.

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Augusta County in western Virginia...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 513 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest
  of Staunton, moving northeast at 25 mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR WESTERN AUGUSTA COUNTY.

  HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable damage to trees and power lines. Your
           life is at significant risk if outdoors. In addition to
           some trees falling into homes, wind damage is possible to
           roofs, sheds, open garages, and mobile homes.

* Locations impacted include...
  Churchville, West Augusta, Buffalo Gap, Trimbles Mill, Mount Solon,
  Christian, Swoope, Moscow, and Sangerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. This storm is producing widespread
wind damage across western Augusta County Virginia. SEEK SHELTER NOW

This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION with tornado like wind

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is

3 different showers down here 0.05 is all so far..

Good amount of rain down towards Lyndhurst with pretty good amount of limbs and a few smaller trees down..
