He seems to have made 12 posts on Feb 24 which the obit lists as the date of death. Watching the weather to the end. (Guess I shouldn't say...don't know anything about the circumstances. Just saddened.)

@GramaxRefugeeI was just gonna say...I thought I just saw him post recently! But like you said, we don't know could've been sudden. So sorry to hear this--seemed like a genuinely nice person who you could always have discussions with. He even humored me when I started a thread about following the Farmer's Almanac back when I kinda believed it, lol (I think he was intrigued by it as well, actually!) Praying for his family.
