That’s impossible. SEMA with the heavies on the 18z GFS.

That's typically the case with cut off/fire hose events... The SE zone take the brunt of what falls and the snow region actually melts down to less.

While he was abandoned by his biological parents, some winter elves happened upon the foundling and took him in as their own.

And so a weenie was born…

He spent years in a cave studying New England snowstorms. His birthday and Christmas presents were all weather books. The Ludlum series was his favorite until of course the KU book was released. At night his elf mother sang him nursery rhymes. Here is one.

Wee Willie Schwartz runs through the town,
Upstairs and downstairs, in his nightgown;
Rapping at the window, crying through the lock,
“Look out the window the blizzards starting to rock.”

That run is prefect for Emass. My belief is that track and capture doesn't work out quite that well for us.  For me best case is about half of those totals.  Even is it's a third of that that would be ok too.

It all depends on the precip type.  It looks like the total QPF will be there.

Boston mets were mostly calling for rain the night before.  Harvey was cautioning about the chance for heavy snow to the coast.

I'm not sure why anyone would be calling for rain, in April 1982 the NYC mets were already talking about the city being shut down in a foot of snow.  I stayed up to see the first flakes at 3 am.
