It's almost like the storm is just starting for us. We have to keep this up though.
ORH_wxman
This is the best snow here in hours. We weren’t even necessarily getting better returns than the last few hours but the dryslot approaching is probably helping. 3
Boston Bulldog
15 minutes ago, ORH_wxman said: Snow growth has improved considerably closer to the dryslot. Absolutely choking flakes right now Looks like some lift from 850mb fronto is crashing in to erode the northern extent of the dry slot over CT. IMO this is one of the first signs of how the coastal reflection is beginning to modify the overall structure of the system, which is attempting to consolidate dynamics towards vertical alignment. Looking downstream, BOS and points north should benefit. EDIT: Just missed @ORH_wxman's latest radar update, only further affirms these processes

DomNH
Still baking powder. Maybe that burst out by Springfield will usher in some better growth and another inch or two to finish. Bad snow growth just irritates me more than anything.

H2Otown_WX
14-14.5" depth so probably 16 or 16.5" for the storm total. From a rate perspective there wasn't anything earth shattering but it was consistent and relatively long duration (about 15 hours) just some mangled flakes now. Good luck out east tomorrow. No sleet but the visibility improved and the accumulation basically stopped despite impressive radar returns. The pellets didn't begin in earnest till a couple minutes ago. Haven't measured but about 10 down here.

Bryan63
Any measurement reports in the Middleboro area? My house is tough with the wind so hard to keep it accurate but it seemed to be about 18-18.5" but hoping for a more verified measurement.

jculligan
1.1" in the last hour brings us to a total of 14.1 inches. This also brings me to a seasonal total of 36.1 inches which surpasses last season and the season prior. This isn't saying much, but is worth noting!

rimetree
This has been a pretty constant dumping. Snow is so light it’s just rolling off the roof and piling up at the front door…2015 style.Thinking we’re probably over 20 now.
