I’ve “taught” a lot of really bright kids over the years, and I imagine @bncho would be one of the ones that when I was at the board struggling through a particularly tough math problem, I’d finally say, “Hey, bncho, give me a hint.”

I remember being around 12 years old and being upset because I just assumed I would be growing out of this odd obsession with snow.  I loved it so much and thought it was just a childhood thing.  I remember creeping down the hallway at night to the laundry room so I could flip on the flood lights and see if it was snowing.  I had a 4x8 map of the Atlantic on my wall where I would track tropical systems with dry erase markers.  Now at 48 years old I am still up at all hours to watch the snowfall.  Little did I know that the obsession would just continue to grow.  

Gardening is another hobby/obsession of mine.  I would bet that most in here love hobbies or have interests that can really never be perfected.  There is always something new to learn, always something that throws a wrench in the works but that 18" of cold powder or that bountiful harvest makes it worth it. 

I am thankful for this forum and the continued education I receive in here from all of the red taggers and other knowledgeable folks.  Too many to mention and would probably leave someone out.  This is a great place to feed my addiction and I appreciate it!

Always a shot out to @stormtrackerfor running this shit show. @psuhoffmanfor his insight. I been a part of this community since the old eastern days so been posting with a lot of you for over 20 years it’s kinda like a small family. Wish we still had conferences or at least can plan a get together with a part of the group that would be interested.

And you sir I appreciate for your love of music AND weather! There aren't many here among the regular posters that are artsy and appreciate that kind of brain :lol:  That and you seem like a genuinely fun dude and brighten things here--and somebody I'd probably vibe with over a coffee or a (non-alcoholic for me) drink! I appreciate so many people here. Our tireless mods. Randy, who was simply..born to lead us maniacs and this place. Like everyone, I appreciate the mets and other experts. I was in awe when I found Eastern and realized I could just...read and talk to actual mets?! In real time?! It's sometimes said oh, we've driven so many great posters away with our awfulness...lol...and maybe we have, and maybe some ppl moved and started families etc..anyway I always feel a twinge for the great posters we HAVE when I hear that. We still have a lot. I appreciate the young posters! New blood is good. I remember Snowen's emergence and like him so much, good thread. I appreciate my weather sisters, the other few women on here, too! :) I appreciate the FUNNY people, who are not always who you expect. Our sub is full of humor and tbh I wouldn't visit without it (in the appropriate thread ofc). Last but not least, I appreciate kindness wherever I see it, even in this tough crew with all the trolling haha, there is :wub:.

Thank you very much, good sir!  I try to brighten things in here and impart some humor how I can even when things look pretty blah...while at the same time add some value and knowledge to the general storm and weather discussions.  And I likewise appreciate your comments, love of good music (especially Beethoven!), and snow!  Also, coffee and (in my case) alcoholic drinks are always good!

There are a lot of people in here whom I appreciate and always look forward to reading (and met a few at a mid-Atlantic "get together" from 10 years ago!)...just to name several offhand, @stormtracker, @psuhoffman, @MillvilleWx, @Terpeast, @WxUSAF, @high risk, @mappy, @H2O, @yoda, @WxWatcher007, @Mrs.J, @Bob Chill, @ravensrule, @Scraff, @CAPE, @Jebman.  (I've probably missed some, my apologies if I have!)  Thanks for the community, the weather talk, and great times following all our snow events over the years! :snowwindow::beer:
