Just in from a short Jebwalk, beautiful out there! Snow has stuck to everything. Still a light snow falling at 8 am.

clearly they built that stretch of I-70 to coincide with the northern extent of the green portion of the precip!  Pretty much in line with much of the model predictions as to where the cutoff would set up?

Yea it's uncanny how many times that MD 26 to I-70 zone is the cutoff for so many winter events.

Eyeball estimates but 1-1.3 in Germantown, MD. We've gotten absolutely lucky with the banding today. Safe to say we've overperformed our forecasts

Looks like we’re gonna tap out at a coating here, which quite honestly is more than I expected given the dry air in place. Fairly productive week in the precip department.

Edging my way into that band now. Flake size much better. Still pretty light but very pretty out now.
