35.3 for a low here, bit of frost but just down the road nearer the river a heavy, heavy frost. I'd say growing season is done although we pulled everything last weekend.

Went hiking from bottom of Ceder run to Hawksbill peak in Shenandoah (around 3000ft elevation gain) and got to walk through all the different levels of fall colors. Best leaves are from 2200-2700 ft on the mountain.

our freeze warning was downgraded yesterday to a frost advisory. it briefly got down to 32 so there was some patchy frost.

...GROWING SEASON HAS ENDED FOR ALLEGHENY MOUNTAINS AND CENTRAL
SHENANDOAH VALLEY...

Based on freezing temperatures last night into this morning, the
growing season has been declared over for the following counties:

In Maryland: Garrett and Allegany

In Virginia: Highland, Rockingham, Augusta, and Shenandoah

In West Virginia: Pendleton, Grant, Mineral, Hardy, and Hampshire

As a result, no Frost/Freeze headlines will be issued for these
areas until Spring 2026.

Got an almost two week trial starting Monday and will be in prep all weekend on what is probably the best weekend of the year for foliage around here so...yay me.
