wxdude64
0.27" from two separate storms. I'll take anything we can get this time of year. A steamy 69.0/68.2 at 7:45 am with a bit of fog and haze.

frd
Have to keep an eye on possible training storms later for the potential of flash flooding. Mount Holly AFD mentions that the Southeastern portion of the forecast area has a marginal risk for training storms, other areas are slight risk. As we get into the afternoon, increasing instability across the area with daytime heating will result in showers and thunderstorms developing through much of the remainder of the day. Likely and categorical pops will continue in the forecast. These showers and storms will be very efficient rain producers resulting in the potential for heavy rainfall. Storm motions look to be fast enough to keep the threat for flooding localized but if storms repetitively train over an area, the threat for flash flooding will be higher. WPC has a SLIGHT risk for much of the area with a MARGINAL risk for the southeastern portion of the region where the threat for training thunderstorms is slightly less. SPC maintains a MARGINAL risk for severe thunderstorms too with damaging winds as the primary threat.
IronTy
Up in DC this weekend, just went to the farmers market. I don't know how people live full time here in the summer. Even at 9am the heat radiates off the brick and asphalt and is like an oven. Leaving back to Calvert in a bit. Looking forward to next weekend.
StormyClearweather
Storms woke me up last night, but sure didn't expect over 2" of rain when I woke up. Actually though it might be an error, but other stations nearby are 1.5"-2.5". That puts me at 9.85" for July. And what is up that with DP? 87storms
So got a nice .36” out of that storm. But you know it is still so humid out when the windows are all steamed up. Looking out the back I can usually see the tree line in the dark. But the windows are so fogged over you cannot see anything. I’ve been in the rain hole shown iweather, though today has a different vibe so far. Sunny and humid start here. We’ll see if anything can tap into the fuel.
WVclimo
Just had a diminishing rain shower pass through. Didn’t knock the temps down at all but did keep the humidity high. 86/

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Dew points uniformly 80 in takoma park and silver spring. Truly just awful soup for air. All the windows were dripping wet with condensation this morning.
