Heavy sleet in Snowshoe, unfortunately.  Going to cut down on totals for sure.

One of those situations where the ridges directly to the eats of Cheat Mountain (i.e. North Fork) will prob do better.

Finally snowing here!  Very light flakes falling.

29/19.  It's too warm.  Would like to have seen it about 17F when I woke up.

At least it's nice to see those white streaks on the roads and actually have snow falling the next day! :P

Dropped down to 30. Every once in awhile I get a decent gust and it looks beautiful out. Could probably start slant-sticking some kind of measurable on the cartop soon.

HRRR claiming it'll still be snowing IMBY at 2:15pm and snowing at a good clip. My fingers, toes, legs, everything is crossed.

Isn't that 3:15?

Wow I’m surprised...I guess it helps being at a lower elevation (relatively speaking) for this.  20 and SN here at 2,800’.

Snowing in Baltimore, around Patterson Park, more than a flurry but not heavy yet. Think it's time for me to go pick up my family's gifts at the post office and experience it while it's here :)

yea this has all the classic cad traits.  just hoping it was underdone here again.  it does happen, though more difficult without arctic air.

I like the looks of that!

Knew that high could hang back west. It’s not even to NH Think DC and n and w are good for snow until 2-3pm and we nowcast  until then

FWIW, 12z HREF on SPC's site did not have any precip north of I-66 prior to 17z / 18z and we're seeing precip already up into Mason-Dixon.

Man this thing is hauling ass

I appreciate your observations and insight during this event!  You have been very positive/optimistic, yet reasonable and realistic about expectations.  Keep it coming:)
