Mostly sleet in Alexandria still. Some flakes mixing in. I know where I live and know what to expect, but that doesn't mean I have to like this.

Easy to mock us when living/working in buildings built to withstand a quake. About to go hang out with a couple of Cali friends, I'm sure I will be summarily made fun of.

Sounds about right. Let's just call it violent for us East Coast Weenies. That was enough shaking for my old a** building.

Small damage to the 7-11 at 14th and Rhode Island. Looked like a chimney down.

Wow! That was my first earthquake and I never want to feel one again. My work building is really old and not earthquake proof in the least. I honestly felt like the walls were coming down during the big shaking.
