CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as

That's life threatening cold!  The old wind chill scale that would be -75?  LOL

some people would hit their limit by 7am.

Hah great idea until a weenie on tilt goes out of their way to make 4 different accounts just to lock someone out

I have been packing a lot of things up lately, getting ready to move out for Florida. I am considering moving a month or so earlier, instead of April it may be late February. I haven't made the final decision whether to leave earlier than originally planned, or stay until April. I favor the former as there's nothing really stopping me from moving out a month early.

I'll likely have made the decision by mid-next week or late week. My last winter of worrying about snow (thank god) because I find being a weather hobbyist in the winter frustrating. It's only frozen water like come on. Yet it's like playing a video game or being a fan of a sports team for some unknown reason.

Last winter they had wind chills get into the -60s.

I was in Saltzburg, Austria a few years back and the people there still tell stories about him from when they filmed The Sound of Music.  He would be singing in the hotels with locals after a full day of shooting.

He was only in Austria less than 2 weeks during the on-location shooting of "The Sound of Mucus", as he called it, and got tanked nearly every night, if not every night he was there.  When they filmed the singing-at-the-festival scene he was drunk.

My wife is amused by my snow "hobby" and me honestly telling her how many of us snow weenies are envious of others who get more snow. So I used the term "snowdenfreude" for the feeling of enjoyment when an area that generally gets more snow actually gets less in a given storm than a less favored area. It is a vice no doubt...

CWG is the worst.  A true no guts no glory forecast everytime.

They said they could trend it up...or trend it down

CWG does this every event. They go <1" inside the beltway, but put their boom/bust forecast at a range of something like -4 inches to 3 feet.
