Stormchaserchuck1
SPC is a little out of touch.. too much model riding and not enough outside observations. I didn't even realize that we are under a MRGL risk for severe storms today.

MN Transplant
DCA has joined the other airports at hitting at least 96. It'll be interesting to see if any of those cells can make it east. The leading showers are dying after they get to about IAD.

Betting we get storms that pop up in the inner burbs once the gust front hits the bay/river breeze boundary. The gust front came through a bit ago and dropped temps nearly 15 degrees so it’s legit. Now about to get some rain hopefully.

87storms
Spicy, but tolerable heat wave. Been getting periodic, strategic hoops seshes in the last couple days and just got a bike ride in. I’ll take this over 55 and stratus. Not thrilled about the upcoming forecast from a late May and weekend point of view, but we need the rain.

Herb@MAWS
Screenshot from earlier. Say Whaaah!?!? 97 imby for my high temp in Columbia today. Morning low 70.0° — so this was first morning temp not falling below 70. — not to mention, no storms or damaging winds. ….

Jebman
Models are printing out maybe 4-7 inches by next Tuesday in Buda. Meanwhile the yellow and red rain returns just keep right on backbuilding over and over and we are absolutely LOVIN the rain! Over an inch, up to 16.1 on the year, this is very good for our part of Texas in mid May.
