Funny, I feel like you wouldn’t be making this statement if you were here for the storm. Stop acting like a child and move on. Nobody cares that you missed the storm. I

17.5” is Not some Historic situation.  JUST like the Blizzard of 2006 where I got 18”.  I don’t remember a THING about it.  Even the King of duration storm December 5-7, 2003 had 22” over 44 Hours of constant snow and a compact total of 20”-21”.  Awesome Storm.  The Poles looked like we got c 3 feet.

This had 14” Compact.  Totally forgettable.  I give extensive data and statements to exactly why I’m not impressed and you Still want to jump on the “Cory is a child” Bulls**t.  Wheather the % that I’ve missed major storms vs. how much I’m actually away OR my stats that This storm can’t come Close to even March 2019 which was totally forgettable for all of you.  I don’t know WHAT data I need to come up with to prove my points.

But you don’t see them being a complete a-hole…..

I’m proud that I got you to spend time to make a list of statistics / points / records to make a point vs. just calling names.  Your Welcome.

And I didn’t know this board had people who are So soft that Text Communication makes you an A-Hole hahahaha.  Only about 4 people on here know my Actual personality.  Harvey Leonard & Paul Kocin weren’t texting You during the storm CC so stop projecting what I am.  Understand the position I’m in; let me rant.  It doesn’t cost any money.  :cory:

And You all think I’m losing my mind.

As an onlooker from outside the area perusing, I think I’m losing my mind reading your posts.

Any storm that gives ORH and BOS 22”+ is going to be remembered by many.

I'm a little bummed about the snowgrowth Sunday and largely missing out on the fun stuff yesterday......BUT.....this was truly a remarkable event. The amount of geography that received one to two feet of snow is incredible. The antecedent airmass is one some folks may not see again before a big event. The amount of snow that fell into air temps at the surface from -5 to 10 above is unlike anything I have ever seen or heard of save reading about Feb 1899.

This event will undoubtedly go down as historic for many reasons.

I Don’t understand the Level of Excitement in here all week to through the storm.  Yes it’s Great.  But have you All Forgotten HOW many storms we’ve had in here where Everyone was Ripping 24”-36”+ with 3-4” per hour During the storm?  This is a full notch below it.  Everyone is close to 20.  It’s Fantastic.  But It’s not Boobs out in the Bahamas “Oh My God I’m losing my mind of happiness!” like Belichick on Senior Day.

And You all think I’m losing my mind.

Just take for instance JUST March 2019.  I got just about the exact Same amount in that storm as this.  EXCEPT, the Compact total was 16”, not 14” like this one, And it came as a Bomb in 1 piece.  AND most of you got 10-14, and I Jackpotted with 17.25.  Vs. Everyone from freaking Providence to Hartford to Blue Hill to Boston to Ipswitch in here getting 20….. And I get flipping under 18.  March 2019 was a Run of the Mill Medium Level Fairly Forgettable storm of mostly 10-14, and yet it was Better in Every way for my area except for duration.  Let alone talk March 2018 or many other Not totally historic events that were still better, Never Mind start talking 1996, 1997, 2005, 2013, 2015 or dare I mention the “RI Screw Job from Hell Fujiwawa 2013” that was 2 feet for everyone But RI.

You guys were so starved for a big storm you’ve acted the whole 7 days like this was the Blizzard of 2005 or 2013.

If it makes it to the top 10 in Boston and Worcester, then it’s historic. A 20” storm is no joke, even if it’s not Feb 1978.

Maybe for your area it was just a major storm but this was a very big deal overall, not to mention how widespread this was from Texas to Maine, and how bitterly cold it was.

Do you do this to your frail old parents too?

I’d like to propose a new storm rating scale: Post Storm Cleanup Street Quality Index (PSC SQI).

Can alway tell the biggies from the quality of the street the morning after it stopped snowing and the plows stopped cleaning. The messier the street, the more severe the storm.

What a mess, nearly busted my ass three times doing end of driveway. No pavement in site.
