wxdude64
Still clear here, temp down to 28.8/21.7. Looking on satellite I'm on the very northern side of the high cirrus going W to E. Probably another hour before the clouds start filling in. MIGHT see some snow before it goes all sleet/freezing rain, just gonna have to wait and see. H2O
Temp drop ended. Back up to 34. 33 and rain is bad enough but 34 and rain will suck the balls of a 350lb dude 2 hours after he ate 5 alarm chili with beans in summer
CAPE
My one and only obs just for the hell of it. 29/23 at 730 Wont be a single flake or sleet pellet here by the time precip starts. On the plus side, might see an inch of rain! Good luck to the NW folks at elevation. An inch or 2 would be a win with this setup imo. Not bad for the very beginning of Dec, esp lately.. 1
Ji
This is a pretty decent slug of moisture heading our way. But it is really moving fast.lol the back edge already showing up. I bet we don’t see much actual pure rain

WxUSAF
Impressive radiational cooling for all of the area tonight. Not sure it will sensibly change the result, but it can’t hurt and sure as hell is better than sitting at 42 and hoping to wet bulb to 33-34. 5
T. August
32.9/23.7 in Havre de Grace. Zero expectation of accumulation but would be cool to see some flakes.

Bob Chill
Never was in the game for snow but it's colder than forecast down my way. Sitting at 30 degrees and precip should start around 3am. Frozen is frozen or something like that lol 1

Precip is in and out in 6 hours. Our best shot is a heavy thump that dynamically cools the column enough to overcome the WAA for a few hours. There is no scenario where we get a slow moving prolonged frozen event. 2

Eskimo Joe
Couple of surface features we have going for us: 1.) Dewpoint temps along and west of I-95 are still low. Some places even in the upper teens. 2.) Wet bulb temps from the metro north and west are all below freezing. 3.) Mesonet showing winds with a bit of a northerly component. Maybe the high is still entrenched a bit? 5
