Thunderstorm #2 moving through now. It's a garden verity type storm. My garden is enjoying it. Radar is interesting, to say the least. I hope everyone gets a good storm. It looks like a stormy evening across the area.

The radar is reminding me of some of the Local on the 8s classic squall lines on the low-res local radar from the 1990s.

Finally catching a good shower although it'll be short as I'm getting the skinny part of the line.  Jealous of Mt. Airy where two cells merged over them!  I'll take anything to dent this nasty drought

So I had an interview (2nd one) at 430.  Talk about timing lol.  I don't think I heard any thunder, though...but definitely was pouring here for a bit.

I just got scraped by that storm in SW Frederick Co. Watching radar and looked wild.

In a lull but 2.92” so far. That’s better than 70% of my snowstorms the past five years.

Nasty storm arriving from the West. Very dark with lightening strikes. Ominous looking.

Train is running right over Towson. I live a half mile from the TU station and can confirm the totals based on my flooded street.

Kinda fell apart for most of HoCo, but with us pushing 9” for July after this event, I’m ok with it.

The forecast of 1-2 inches for tonight looks pretty unlikely here given current radar and the latest HRRR runs. At this point I would be happy with another half inch, but even that might be a stretch.

Managed to get 0.8 which is amazing for such an arid area.  Best rain in weeks and might be the last for a very long time.  I am looking forward to the gorgeous temps over the next several days

Nope just barely south by probably a few miles. Crazy how that line didn’t sag and fell apart.

1.84 inches here after the second storm. What a crazy July. So much rain the lawn had fungal disease this month,  versus going crispy dormant.

Surprised how the wind has stayed up since the storms moved through this afternoon.  15-25 mph is really refreshing.
