Mostly just sleet with a few flakes mixing in now and then. Untreated sidewalks and streets are definitely slick in spots. I think it is cold enough to snow for now but there is just no heavy precipitation for any more than a few minutes at a time.

We definitely could have had something measurable at least if we could have sustained moderate rates for more than 15-20 minutes. This lull might kill those chances.

Can anyone confirm if those heavier returns just SW of Martinsburg is snow or sleet. Seeing some yellow returns.

It’s pouring snow here now. Big flakes.  The kind of snow that piles up quickly.  About 0.50 mi. visibility.  Still 29°.

Yep that lull killed us. It was all snow even under lightest returns. One flake per 10 cubic feet lol

Heavier returns are making it into Washington County now.

Ripping snow now.

And back to all sleet.  And heavy sleet, so it's no longer because of light rates.  This one is toast for Stephens City.  Not surprising, went exactly how I thought it would.

I feel your pain...at least your getting precip.
