TBlizz will debbie his way to 5” on his mulch beds.

I’m honestly not being a Debbie lol. I just have questions about “impact” with 2-4” of snow falling over 40 hours. It’ll look nice... but as far as road conditions and such, doesn’t look like a big deal

What are we thinking around here? 1-3"? I worry it turns to sleet or freezing rain earlier than forecasted around here.....

I think we could see freezing snizzle after the initial thump which wouldn't hurt on accumulations .. seems like 1-3" is a good bet first thump here, then we will nowcast what happens after if anything.

Well what I can say is I’m absolutely not surprised at the trends in the last 2 days for this one. And it doesn’t look too bad now for us!

What I saw before, that mid Atlantic squasher... that stopped abruptly at New England:.. I’m not saying that never happens like that but it just looked so.... Odd.

Freezing snizzle would be nice to glaze over the pack for the week and the incoming Feb snow train.

I'm pretty confident on a widespread 3-6.  Wish I were there with you but we'll be getting 4-8 here most likely so it's not a total loss.  The difference is Chiagoland went from possible 12+ to mundane and SNE went from nada to decent.

That was very socialist of you to hand over some of your snow. We’ll get you back someday though. Thanks.

This has tended favorably for many in New England.

The key was the shortwave maintained it's integrity longer than guidance was showing at the time. It's not uncommon for guidance to squash a shortwave too quickly, even in the face of a block.

Yea, I didn't that that was going to happen, but glad I was wrong.
