Doesn’t snow in Charlottesville with returns overhead, does when they aren’t. Odd.

30/27 with somewhere around .5”

Gotta give a ton of credit to the local mets who called the lull/dry slotting here. Probably will be until overnight when it kicks back up. But supposed to dump in early AM.

Radar just to your west shows incoming greens.

Hey guys! Longtime lurker of this forum. First time poster. Made the chase up from ORF to escape another dreaded cold rain. Staying in a state park in Bentonville south of Front Royal and we’ve good a good inch on the ground. Nice to see that dry slot filling in. Congrats on the end to a long skunk streak. Enjoying a whiskey by the fire in honor of your victory!

M0.1" Reisterstown...radar would suggest it should be thumping but it's really light snow.

Well based on what I've read, Dale City has nearly an inch on all surfaces except roads which have slightly less. Wall of snow is fast approaching from the west. This is a very good time to enjoy a long leisurely jebwalk down Dale Blvd !!!

Roads are covered in rockville and probably a little over half inch on non-asphalt surfaces. I'm really impressed with how fast the snow came in, not much Virga despite the low dew points earlier today

Driveway has caved, probably have just a tenth of an inch. Looks pretty nice coming down.

Its going to be funny when those bands that come in from the south hit the wall and stack up dumping on the worried northern crew.

Snow globe outside here now. Beautiful.

We have 1" down here in Prince George, Va. Temperature is 31 after a high of 37 earlier today.  In a lull right now, should not last too long though. Dreading the mix mess coming my way late tonight though.

1" in N Arlington, but road just wet as salt has had time to work with the constant lulls. Expecting another 1-2".

This guy never quits.  God bless him.
