The side up towards Shelburne Falls etc. Yeah, it’s still wall-to-wall snow pack here. I drove to Chelmsford yesterday and noticed a sharp cut off in snow past Fitchburg. Let me know next time you’re coming through so we can meet for a beer.
UnitedWx
Couple hours ago it looked like the snow was going to end but it picked up again and we've broken three quarters of an inch in Westfield. And speaking of sharp cut offs, 100% solid frozen pack at Home here and pretty much 100% still down in simsbury. Ran on a call to South Windsor yesterday and it was a different world.

alex
34 minutes ago, codfishsnowman said: Its not going to wipe out your pack either, just an encouraging base to build on as your real winter begins. Yeah, a bit of water could actually help. Found myself on a cutoff today where you had to push, and the pole just sink all the way down, making it really hard to push. Some heavier base would give more support. On the flip side, the powder is amazing and the resort hasn’t bother grooming half the trails yet, so it’s a lot of fun

dendrite
You can see some of those convective elements offshore on GYX now. That should back near the coast and then maybe clip Cape Ann and the Cape later as the trough sags south.
203whiteout
I’d guess about 3 or 4” here on the coast in Fairfield/Black Rock, CT. Snow is tapering off as I type this. 26 degrees. Winds are starting to blow the snow around. Nice little December event. Hopefully we get at least one “foot plus” event - end of month into January.. .
