Says you aren't accepting PMs.

Germantown Rd and Blunt Rd, intersection, in Germantown.

It's an absolute mess.

Okay, I'll pass the word along to our SOC.

Agree.  Heaviest snow of the winter.  Maybe heaviest since Jan '16?

No doubt in my mind. At least for my yard. 3"+ in under 3 hours is impressive with any storm around here.

Pretty classic on the SPC site. Lead band now NE of DC is the good H7-H5 fronto give or take. Right on the 850-700 warm front trying to move in. Thumpity.

Snowing nicely now in NE Baltimore.  My two weenies-in-the-making want to set up chairs on the porch and have a snack while they watch the snow come down.

Thanks. There are at least 2-3 cars stuck when I was driving back. There's a particular hill a little down the road from it that cars seem to have a lot of trouble getting up right now. I THINK it's even a snow emergency route, and still the road is bad.

I actually think this is the heaviest snow I've ever seen. I've never seen whiteout conditions save for the "blizzard" wave we got a few weeks ago, but that was wind whiteout and not just striagt up snow whiteout.

Just watching traffic cams on TV and 10 minutes ago, most major highways in the area were wet and they are pretty much all snow covered now.

Where is the sleet line?

According to RadarScope around Ashland (just north of Richmond).  Doesn’t have that “racing north” look to it yet.
