38.5

11/26/14 4.2 Early season Miller A. Heavy snow. Marg. temps. 20 miles west gets 16 inches! Great start to winter.

01/06/15 3.4 Clipper ends an awful snowless period. Megaband sets up south and east. They get 5+

01/07/15 T    Lake effect streamer parks over me for 40 minutes. Moderate snow. So windy i cant measure.

01/14/15 .1   3 hours of light snow with temps on the mid 20's yields .1

01/21/15 1.1 Another clipper. Another inch. Once again east does better.

01/24/15 1.3 Major WSW bust in my location. Forecast was for 4-7 I got under 1.5 of slop. Frustrating Miller A.

01/26-27/15 4.3 Miller B exceeds my expectations. 30+ hours of light snow. Epic bust in Philly and NY areas.

01/29/15  .1 Clipper runs to the north and drops moderate sleet with some flakes mixed in. Big storm this weekend?

01/30/15  T Another 30 minute streamer. Another trace.

02/01/15  .5 Storm tracks to my west. .5 followed by rain then a dry slot. Boston gets smashed again.

02/14/15  .2 Heavy squall comes through with heavy snow and 50+ MPH winds. I dont ever remember lower visibilities.

02/16/15 4.2 Miller A has light snow for 12 hours falling into 12 degree temps. A little disappointed with final total.

02/18/15 .5 Snow squall dumps heavy snow in 2 separate bands. Sun comes out in between them.

02/21/15 8.8 A cutter sends precip into a true arctic air mass. Superband drops 2 inch per hour rates.

02/26/15  .8 Nice storm for the SE drops almost an inch of snow in 4 hours.

03/05/15  8.9 Slow moving arctic front changes rain to sleet then snow. A beautiful end to a great back loaded winter.

Currently at 48 consecutive days with some form of snow pack. As bad as the first 6 weeks of this winter were. The last 6 weeks more than made up for it.

1-6-15:          3.5"   (early AM clipper powder, temps in low 20s)

1-21-15:          .5"   (absolute clipper failure.  one of the worst events of my lifetime.  ground completely bare by late afternoon.)

1-24-15:          T     (WSW for 4-7".  Lots of rain.  JOKE)

1-26/27-15:    2.0"  (33F slop, grass only.  WSW for 6-8".  Miller B JOKE.  Surprise evening/night light snows saved event.)

2-14-15:         .2"    (5 minute squall from arctic front)

2-18-15          T      (Predictable FROPA fail)

2-21-15         9.0"   (Great event, from a cutter no less.  At one point I measured .75" in a 10-minute period, 2.5" in 1-hour)

2-26-15         1.5"   (Early AM event from southern coastal.  Nice snow-on-snow event, nice 10-day stretch of snow cover and cold)

3-5-15           7.0"   (rain to snow at dawn.  falling temps into low 20s, snow to 4 PM.  great cold, great storm).

3-20-15         0.25"  (WWA for 3-5" failure.  Heavy rain 3:30 AM over to period of early AM acc. slush on grass only, then no rates)

(We end the winter the way we started it: with a THUD)

Total:            30.75"

(beat climo and exceeded 30" for third straight year.  Mid Feb - 1st wk of Mar was awesome  Nearly 3 weeks of snowcover)

(damn good thing this last POS happened outside the bounds of winter score keeping, or my 7 rating would have been downgraded)

guess its a good thing i hadn't made the map final yet.

Based on what I'm seeing, we probably aren't done yet. Maybe the cities close burbs are done but I think there's another event on the table for some of us before it becomes impossible to snow.

Give it another 2 weeks. I think we get one more measurable. Looks cold through the beginning of April.

Yeah, probably a safe bet. Even if not everyone gets snow, someone in the region will (especially when I do have values from PA, DE and NJ)

3/20 - 1"

Season total 30.2"

Two verified snow warning level events and one verified ice level warning event. Deep, deep winter since 2/14/15.

Over 30 inches now. Never would have imagined that (especially without a KU type event) as we approached mid-February. 7 events of an inch or more since Feb. 14. Atypical.

6.25" today. Season total up to 27.65". Even better, it gets me above 70" for the last two winters. Solid.

1.8" today. Season total up to 29.45". Round up to 29.5". CWG did a better job forecasting this one than NWS did. At least the C-2" zone that I was in covered the area totals. Much better than "less than a half inch of accumulation"
