Based on several highly unscientific measurements/observations, I'm going to call it at 7". That could be wildly inaccurate but it's impossible to measure. Temps have leveled off around 2 with winds in the 25 mph range. The squall intercept last night with @MillvilleWx at Keysers Ridge was just frickin' epic and as I told @NorthArlington101 it was truly a high-end Great Lakes-esque experience. The difference is it lasted 20 minutes here and the Great Lakes would've lasted for 2 days lol. I'm still trying to organize some victims, er volunteers, for tubing tonight at Canaan. Any takers? :snowing:

Deep winter up st DCL.   I hope this doesn't get me kicked off the forums but I'm sick of this winter.  I'm so over the cold dry wind.  I'm doing my annual preseason reading of all my moth books and it has me looking forward to April.

It’s crazy how DC will have an above freezing high temp for today

The most snowfall ever recorded in a single winter in Maryland was during the winter of 2009–10, when 262.5 inches of snow fell at Keysers Ridge.

@stormtrackerban this imposter. We do not stand for this nonsense. While you’re at it, take out gray beard from Delaware, too.

Weak sauce ;)

Weak sauce here as well, no snow showers last night or squalls, no extreme wind gusts so far, maybe a gust to 38 to 44 mph.

All in all a typical deep winter day.  The most impressive thing is the snow cover that remains, starting the third week of snow cover tomorrow, have not seen the grass in a couple weeks.

Had a 46 mph gust at 2:20 am here. About an inch of snow, though that is an average as last night's wind whipped stuff was a struggle to measure. Absolute crazy 15 minutes last night around 1:30 am. Snow and wind brought vis down to a couple hundred feet at most a couple of times. Easily would have been 2-3 inches if it had continued for an hour. At 7 am CoCoRaHS report I had spots that had been cleared still clear and spots in corners/edges with 6" of new snow. Currently 17.4/1.1 at 10:50 am with NNW wind at 10 gusting to 26 mph, WC 5 to -1.
