Really heavy band here in central MA right now.  Curious how much it puts down because accums here so far haven't piled up too fast.  A lot of powdery flakes, with a few really big ones mixing in right now

Yeah.  To be honest the sleet only bothers me for cleanup reasons.  I don't have a nice two stage to cut through it when snow ends up wet and dense.

Snow growth has been sort of mediocre, but it’s early still.  I’m waiting to see what happens in this band just to my south.

First flakes started to fall here in Charlotte, VT around 20 minutes ago. It took 20 minutes for those first mangled, pixie dust flakes to turn into 1/4 mile visibility snow.

Yeah, snow growth is improving as this band moves in.

over 2 inches here now, but it’s pretty substantial. Baking powder. I’m assuming that will change as we go through the afternoon.

6 hr measure is 4.7", growth has been wavering between sand and excellent when bands move through, but vis is well under 1/4sm for hours now... and we just gettin started.
