It metered out here. There's got to be a dry layer eating it. Once it moistens, it'll come down pretty good considering radar returns.

It started actually at a pretty good rate. Very lite dusting on things right now.

Tapered back to flurries here. Line gaining some strength in western Va. Short term models have it intensifying about 10am.

Euro with a big move NW as well, not to where the NAM, RGEM, RRFS are, but that was a big move by euro standards.

Same thing down this way.  Quick dusting under light greens.  The radar blossoms and under dark green/yellows the snow stops.  Not a flake since.  Oddest thing.

Euro didn’t even show precip over us so I’m not sure that’s as much the issue as some bs dry air.

Definitely dry air. There can be no other explanation.  Fwiw, Rap and Hrrr still show 1"+ on their latest runs. So there's that, I  suppose.
