Snowpack stopped compacting.  Same 6.5” as yesterday.

Low was 9.4 at 7 am. Temp stayed in low teens overnight as the winds cranked in 20's and 30's (and WC's in the -10 range). Finally wind calmed to under 10 mph late and temp dropped to low right at 7 am CoCoRaHS reading. I passed on doing a SWE this morning to give myself and the tools a break, lol. The 5 inches of concrete just isn't enjoyable trying to get thru and up. Temp still dropping, 8.8/-0.1 at 8 am.

MBY bottomed at 8. Tipton airport a few miles away got to 3.

Yep, I think the last 3 nights it has done that here. Windy/breezy during the day, but once the sunsets the wind gusts go into overdrive!

On my PWS we still haven’t made it to single digits this week, but kinda expected that being right by the open Bay. Still very impressed with a 6 day average barely being above 20.

11F here as well (11.1F to be exact).  Low of 14F at DCA.  23F both here and at DCA at this hour.

25 degrees in full sun, what an amazing run of cold.  How many days a year do we usually get in the 20s?  It feels like barely any and we’re just stringing them together.  Also, the amount of snow and the size of the piles is crazy, 9 inches of powder would not look like this.  9 inches of the densest snow/sleet combo known to man hits different 4 days later.

Well I’m almost done with my igloo.  Gonna finish the dome up top and maybe wrap it a bit more if I have time.   Went purely using common sense and in retrospect I should have angled the pieces earlier to make a shorter igloo with a more complete dome.  But it’s cool I can stand in there and the kids are having a blast.

Finally finished both cars and all walkways .  3.5 hours and throwing 2X2by6” thick checks all over the place from cars .  Normally would take 60-75 minutes .  High  so far 22
