Wow that was awesome. Winds to at least 35 with crazy snowfall rates.  

Came in like a freight train. Worth getting up for. Heaviest snow I have seen in a long time.

For those who slept in heres a picture of the storm at its height for me. Wind was brutal plus legit heavy snowfall, first time ever I can remember seeing such a combination.

Cool experience! Heavy, heavy snow for 10 minutes and still snowing moderately. Looked like a blizzard for a second out there. Hopefully we can get these rates in a coastal later this month. 0.1”!

Did the thing in Fallston about 5:15 am - just took the dogs out - looks like .2 or so - ground is covered.

Bummed that I missed it, but wow! Temps dropped 11 degrees in less than 15 minutes, with a peak gust of 35.3 MPH.

Woke us up too. Then tried to go back to sleep and the wind hit like a freight train 40 mins later. Visibility was probably 1/10th of a mile or less. Could  watch the driveway accumulate snow. It’s blown around so much since, but probably can count 0.1”.

The wind woke me up briefly. Sounded like it was raining, so I didn't look out the window. When I got up at 6:15, there was the thinnest possible dusting.

Breezy, flurries, and 7 degrees here on the Magical Tug Hill. We received 4-5" additional snow overnight. A dusting for Tug standards. Today at snow camp our mission is to intercept the maga band that is going to develop today. It's going to drop 4+ feet and we want to be there. We have a total of 3 base locations. We're not playing around at snow camp 2026.

Well I missed seeing it happen again but woke up to a coating of snow for the second day in a row. Kinda cool.

Much as I like such things - this stunk for me.  I've been working on installing windows in a sunroom - was halfway through installing one but hadn't secured it completely yet.  Woke this morning to tons of shattered glass.

Oh well.  Lesson learned.

I see it gusted up to 35 mph here.
