I've only had about 6 days with a high at or above 95°, and no overnight lows above 80°. Compared to growing up in Philly in the 90s with no air conditioning, this wasn't the worst. 2012, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021 were wat worse, IMO. WxUSAF
Overnight runs are bone dry for the next 2 weeks. What a strange year precip-wise. Dryish through mid-late April, then wet to very wet through July, and potentially <1” (or even less in spots) from August 1 through mid September. 1

Most of our summer rains occurred on 7/19 and 8/1. Too much too fast.

I looked and was surprised to see June was just +0.6 and July +1.4 (DCA). Check out this stretch in 2012 end of June beginning of July. And weren't a lot of people out of power for days after that derecho in late June? 1
wxdude64
Low was 48.6 here, currently 48.8/48.1, wonderful! Edit, checked, not a record, but close. Record is 48 from 1984.

June...18th hottest July....10th hottest: DCA only. I would guess the others would be a bit hotter.
