ThePhotoGuy
Was in the Arnold area when the storm came through. Very heavy rain. Some small hail. Lots of small to medium branches down on Ritchie Highway. Didn’t seem like such high winds but think a lot of the debris was related to weakened state from the storms last week.
GATECH
The smell of a thunder storm after it being 100 is amazing! Temp dropped from 98 to 80 in 5 minutes!
CAPE
Managed to hit 97 briefly earlier, otherwise it would have been another boring high of 96 lol. Dewpoints a bit lower today.
kgottwald
At 3 p.m. it looked like a nasty line of storms was heading straight for Tysons Corner. But all we got was clouds - not even much wind! Sun back out in Vienna.

TSG
Interesting afternoon down this way. CHO was well on it's way to 100 it seemed but the storms that popped early over Madison and Orange counties sent a bunch of outflow and high level clouds out to the SW. We've been in the mid 80s since ~2:30 because of it despite zero precip

WVclimo
That warned cell in southern PA just to my north has been dumping for the past hour. FFW up for that area. Getting a lot of thunder and lightning here from it and some gusty wind. Looks like it may slip just east of here though. Edit- Storm developed right over me on the outflow boundary. Pouring for the second time today.
