Oh yea! I'd tell you to move north but I don't want to do that to innocent north of OKV peeps. They like rain and snow. 

Over 2" and counting. Ground is done absorbing. Heavies are running off pretty quick.  Convective rain later (if it works out) should bring some mini flood photo ops lol. 

This event will end up being more than anyone needed to this area but man, we needed it anyway.

The air is thick with humidity - for sure! Rain was more here than thought! Stupid weather station keeps messing me up! .44 inches so far! That is good stuff! Some stations less than 2 miles away are approaching an inch already!

A solid 0.5 - 0.6 here by 7am, and steady moderate rain since then.  Drought quencher. Radar south looks great

This is how a Gulf low is supposed to be!  Wake up to several tenths of precip already accumulated and coming down moderately, with great looking radar to the south.  If only I got that in January!

2.68" at 7 am CoCoRaHS reading, shattering the old record of 1.02" from 2017 for the date. Still raining lightly, looks like another tenth or so eyeballing the gauge from the house. Temps been locked right around 60 since rain started late yesterday morning.

Just went out on the deck to check my potted plants for standing water. Have slightly sheltered them so doing good. Ballenger Creek runs right behind my house behind the tree line. I can hear it running. Normally you never would know it is back there. Other than that nice vertical rain which allows me to have some windows open to enjoy the sounds.

Dover radar will be out for 3 weeks waiting on a new motor. That seems like a ridiculously long time.

12z HRRR really loves CHO to Winchester, with the metro areas getting virtually nothing from 2-8pm.  Tough to envision that looking at the radar currently.

Looking at radar the areas to my west out between Brunswick and Jefferson that had flash flooding last week look to be getting dumped on again. I forget who is out there in Brunswick but maybe he will see this.
