Saw one at a parking lot near Yankee Stadium a few weeks ago then this past Saturday morning, again (oddly), in a parking lot at a nearby Mall in Whitestone. Never seen one before this year. I saw thousands of them last year but none this year. Strange how they just disappeared from our area. I don't know if the extremely dry weather we had in May had something to do with that.
