90/79/106.

I didn’t realize it was only 10 o’clock, might be the earliest 100+ heat index this summer. Also, second highest dew point of the year with 79.2....highest so far is 79.7 on 8/02.

91/77/105 here, insane out there with the dew point.

Today is brutally hot, and it's not even 11:00am yet.

The windows were fogged up again here this morning. JFK upped the record to 32 days with a maximum dew point of 75 degrees or higher.

Where do you get these graphs from? They're quite useful.

Seriously considering staying at work until 8 the next few nights so i can get a car home instead of waiting for the subway on a 200 degree platform.

Just get some raw chicken and slow roast it on the tiles down there. Nothing like a good old subway slow roast. Don't even need the salt and pepper.

Feeling cheated here at just 85+.  lol

The NYSIO total output is approaching  30GW at Noon.   I do not know what the record consumption is, but I do not think the system can produce more than 32GW, on its own.   Comments?

Update at 12:30pm        I have 86+ now, and the NYSIO has exceeded the 30GW.

You can check for yourself at:     http://www.nyiso.com/public/index.jsp

They are reporting all is Normal  and w/o any warning flags, as of 12:30pm

Update at 1pm.              I have 87+ now.     NYSIO reporting 30.5GW.

Update at 1:15pm          I have 88+ now.     NYSIO reporting 30.8GW.

Okay so this is now turning into a historic late season heat event. I'm sorry that I don't have anything more than anecdotal evidence for my claims. Maybe the warm Atlantic is helping some of these stations reach record highs.

Late in the season it’s fairly easily for JFK or ISP even with a south wind to reach the lower 90s.  Higher than 93-94 probably won’t happen but you can easily get there

90/77/104 at ISP (down from 91)

91/74/100 at FRG

92/76/104 here

Thats a record high for ISP, not sure about FRG.

Excessive Heat Warning should have been issued, as Heat Index is 104+ in spots now.

I honestly wasn’t expecting the humidity to be this high.

93/81/114. Not kidding.

I thought my station was misreporting, but this is real.
