Great sign for snow and cold for us. Barrow and norilsk will have earlier freezing temps than previous years. The current latest such figure was established on August 15, 1985 with a low temperature of 80 degrees and tied in 1988 when the low temperature was 81 degrees. It was still 91-92 close to midnight in Queens, temp didn’t drop below 90 until I was roughly a mile into Nassau, when I got home it was “only” 81.
