  1. Yeah I can't necessarily remember a consistent pattern like this where it goes from so warm to so cool each month of Spring. In April you had 90's then 20's. This week my forecast high on Tuesday is 98, then next Saturday it's 60..
  2. Right but relative to the normal temps it was more extreme. Naturally, dewpoints are going to increase as we approach June.
  3. To me the heat we had back in April was more impressive considering that was a month ago. Coming up to the last 2 weeks of May, we typically see bursts of heat like this. By Thursday it looks to cool down, so it's really just 3-4 days of heat.
  4. Yeah should be good for awhile. Early June and late August can be sneaky but I think we're entering summer mode. You'll start to see dews increasing as well which will keep it warmer at night too.
  5. You can see how the deficit got erased in NW Jersey since end of Feb. Been pretty good here.
  6. Just hit an inch here. This was a solid soaker. Wednesday into Thursday can be decent as well. Everything really greening up now. The crazy thing is that Friday is 5/1, and I don't have a single high temp above 60 after that. I hope it changes as we close in.
  7. That's okay, because it's only a few seconds each day, and the sunset remains at 8:30 until like mid July
  8. Mid 80's still in NYC at this hour, in mid-april, is nuts. Hoping those storms in PA make it here. Had a nice downpour last night.
  9. Interesting, didn't know we were expecting much today.
  10. Why would you need the windows open at 36 lol, do you need the room to be 50 degrees?
  11. Wow, that is really cool. Love that old vibe, so much simpler.
  12. Such is April. Never expect nice Spring weather until May.
  13. We're done dude, hasn't snowed the whole month. More rain Thursday night and next week could turn wet. Might as well get our water supply built up and the reservoirs full now. Hopefully by May we turn full spring mode. April is always a toss up.
  14. This time of year is always back and forth though. After the weekend, it's back to at or below normal next week. My highest forecast temp next Monday-Saturday is 53, which isn't crazy AN. Of course we will probably overperform some days especially with full sun.
  15. Exactly yeah, next week is the last full week of March, and I'm not seeing anything crazy warm. Monday through Friday most highs are 40's to low 50's with 20's and 30's at night. I'm not saying we don't end up AN this month but it's not like we wall to wall torched. The crazy departures last week will make the month look worse on paper of course.
  16. We had enough snow, and outside of that heat burst last week, it's not like we've been torching. Next week still looks chilly. Stuck at 27 currently.
  17. Already 0.6" overnight. We'll see what today holds.
  18. Definitely going to be cool coming up but I wouldn't expect anything snow wise. Sure, we have seen snow after the equinox, but how often is it anything accumulating? Honestly, at this point, who cares about a dusting or car topper? Don't get me wrong, I'm okay with average temps, not looking for a torch or anything this early in the season, but time to pack it in with the snow now. You got your KU dude!
  19. Time to start tracking rain events. Now is when we want some good soakers, so that by May/June when things turn more towards convection, we have a good start and don't have to worry about a drought as much. Monday has my attention.
  20. Had ripping downpours here, the rain alone woke me up. The additional 0.4" overnight puts me just under an inch from this system, and we still have more to come.
  21. Solid downpours here. Enough to pick up a half inch already. Still more to come.
  22. March 10th or June 10th?
  23. Warm temps and higher dewpoints have eaten the snow alive here. Snowcover completely destroyed and gone. Even the huge piles at the corners of the driveway are tiny. Next few days look great, shame though it's just a tease.
  24. This turned into a really nice soaker here. Sitting at just under an inch, and there's still some serious moisture headed towards us.
  25. March 1st, I guess it's time for me to come out of hibernation. Finally made it through the coldest and darkest months of the year. Looks like a lot of rain chances this week, but I see some 60's showing up towards next weekend. Looking forward to some 7pm sunsets too Will it turn cold by the 3rd week, maybe...but at that point who cares. It's been plenty cold and I'm just under 50 inches this season. AN snow and BN temps, nothing to complain about on this one.
