Heat won't be remembered up here (one day 90F a couple low-mid 80s) but the dews are noteworthy. Not often it gets into the 70-74F range like today. 0.81" in about 15 minutes with 3.5" max rain rate. powderfreak Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 What a crazy boundary for this time of year...upper 60s/lower 70s to low 90s cutting through BTV CWA. BTV AFD: North of the front, temperatures are only in the upper 60s to lower 70s, while south of the front we`ve got 80s and even some lower 90s....Massena NY is currently 72F with a northeast wind, and just a bit south of there, Ogdensburg NY is 90F with a southwest wind. Similar differences in the Champlain Valley as well - Highgate on the north side of the valley is 71F, here in Burlington we are 84F and it`s 90F in western Addison County. I'm just looking back thru TANs #s and I see a 78F back in 2011 on July 22. Hit 100 that day and. Also had a HI of 109F at 10AM.
