Well I have a hard time seeing Euro AI and ensembles off by 300 miles this close in, but we shall see. I have a lot of people asking me about the weekend, and it's definitely a higher stakes deal. If the euro ai/ensembles and the euro op and ensembles have some sort of consistency at 12z...I would feel more confident in a higher impact especially near the coast. I do expect a little shuffling as usually the case this far out....but I mean no wild swings.

Nah.. I’m fine either way . Another boring rainer or a tree toppler . Let the chips fall where they may

When did you transition from every storm missing and bermuda blues and a spot shower to destructive windswept rainstorm for days? The equinox?

All I know is anything that brings some interesting weather is welcome. Doesn't have to be grid destroying events. I have a bit of a wind fetish so anything that checks that box will be nice as seems like a struggle to get anything even moderately stormy...at least in recent autumns. Nice breeze today. 62/53

Folks complain when there is no weather and complain when there is weather to talk about lol.

It's almost as if every single weather phenomenon has to be extreme or bust. Everything is meh, meh, meh unless there are 20 tornadoes, trees get blown down all over, snow accumulations exceed 2 feet, winds gust above 60, or half the region is under water.

Funny thing is, if 1888 or 1938 happened again this place would be on fire with mehing, complaining, complaining about the complaining, and strife.

I mean RI got a historic blizzard and pages of the thread were filled with all out warfare accordion man.

you know it's boring when we are tracking a regular fall noreaster and rooting for an inch or two of rain.

This will be like the blizzard was in Feb.  On the Wednesday before the blizzard hit(which it hit on a Sunday, like this is likely going to), the storm was gone…folks wrote it off.  Then on Thursday afternoon it came back, and it went back to the big storm scenario like it was earlier that week.   This will do the same as far as the modeling goes.

Euro and Euro AI basically have the same idea...but it's nothing super impressive. However, makes me think the eastern solutions are probably going to correct west even if Euro and Ai correct east a bit.

Although we’re days away and it’s already pretty breezy out

It may ramp up more over the next two days…that’s a distinct and plausible possibility.
