At best its been that here for most of the Summer. July was good, then dry for August until the past week. Probably good to go now heading into a Nino Fall.

Pretty impressive monthly totals. 3.27" here in Garrett County so a lot lower than most folks but we've done pretty well overall this season. Looks like our hottest day occurred in May of all things - 89.2 looks to be the best summer had to offer this year imby.

Gorgeous today.  Refreshing breeze, falling DPs.  Everything looks so green and clean after last night's rain.  

This evening is going to be epic for August.  Acute case of Fall fever beginning.

Not sure what’s up but 4 fighter jets escorting a big plane

I saw something fly over my house about 40 minutes ago.   Very loud.  By the time I got outside to look a large plane was headed east, but the sun prevented a good view.  Was not a jet liner.  And the noise could've been multiple jets, fighters being too small to see in that sun glare.

The best one was the B-1, B-2, B-52 flying over escorted by a couple F-35.  Now that's an expensive formation.   Went right over my house, dog wasn't impressed.
