Set a 'warm minimum' at 64.3 degrees, old mark was 63 from 1981. About 2.5" since the rain returned. Someone close by has gotten a good bit more, the river was up about 3 feet above normal and brown. 1st time I'll seen that in a while.

Looks like the warm front has been shoved south a bit. I'm thinking locations south of US 50 are probably better placed for afternoon convection?

Gully washers this morning with 0.5”+ amounts at nearby stations. Saw a quick lightning bolt looking southwest earlier as well from the first line. We needed the rain, but we’re now at a week of mostly cloudy conditions lol. Successful precip producer…now let’s reel in some sunshine.

That was the perfect way to end sprinkle fest. With sprinkles lol. Welp.. that sucked. Back to drought. What happened to the "pattern change"? Looks like back to no rain in sight.

another .45" this afternoon, about .35" of that once again falling in just 10 minutes so now the total since 5/20 is 4.90". not bad. the sun is starting to break through now.

Just had a sporty storm roll thru. Over an inch in 20 mins with frequent CG. No warning but it was close to that level. Have had 4-5 pretty good storms so far this year. Always fun when nothing gets destroyed. Storm TV thru the window will never get old lol

The sky is actually blue? In all seriousness, cloud are slowly starting to break up, more and more patches of blue being seen. Got a decent amount of rain earlier looks like, but still so humid at the moment.

We're getting a decent shower down here now, radar looks like more is building toward us possibly.  Maybe we can ele out a quarter inch this evening.  Are you down in that Kinsey's Ridge development S of Prince fred?  Or Oakland Hall?  I think that was the QBH developments name....

Distant blue and brightening sky with .44" today, and brings the monthly total to 5.46". Obviously, about 75% of that in the last week.

Yep, I'm in Kinsey's Ridge (Shaefer Homes - a small local builder).  Oakland Hall is QBH

Sun coming out after a light shower and it is humid!  Can't wait for that great weather coming our way.
