87storms
Thought it was gonna be a full flip here, but once I got below 500’ and then back home it’s still like a 50/50 mix. Very rate and elevation dependent event so far.

I never would have even gone 5-10. I was thinking 4-8 and I’d be dropping it right now to 3-7 maybe not increasing it. I honestly want to know what went into their decision. Maybe I’m missing something and I can learn.

It looks like about 3" otg already and it's coming down good. I had to flip into four wheel drive about 20 miles outside Harrington. LFG! Yeah it's been coming down pretty good here in H town since 1230.

midatlanticweather
Been snowing nicely for about an hour. Mulch is starting to cave.. Grass is getting lighter with slush. Cars covering slowly. 33.3 degrees
baltosquid
Mesonet seems to have Baltimore dropping 1 degree over the past half hour. Took an hour and a half to drop the degree before that. Accelerating. Their site is definitely a bit cooler than Canton but hopefully this is the beginning of the crash and then snowflakes soon... I think I see the mixing line over the bay on correlation coefficient, inching NW.
Roger Ramjet
13 minutes ago, Terpeast said: My nowcast guess - based on radar, seems to be some convergence from HGR/MRB down to west of leesburg to warrenton. Maybe thinking thats where the norlun forms initially and then slowly migrates east to DC I think you are right. Heavy snow - about 1" in the last hour and finally below freezing at 31.9. Starting to think a screw job is on the table for my area and maybe parts of northern md. We’ll see. It is early, but this storm basically sucks so far (yes, I know it’s early).
