Have to head to bed soon but probably do one final measurement. It's gotten pretty breezy here so snow is definitely drifting. I am actually wondering if I cleared, would I even get an accurate accumulation with the way the snow is blowing. Oh well...it is what it is Yeah the drifting makes it tough. I tried measuring in different spots, got 15, 17, 11, 12, and 13 inches.

tiger_deF
Snow has been coming down hard for the past 6 hours. Hard to tell with the drifting but in Arlington MA I'd say we have 15-17" so far. If the storm continues to print in the remaining 4-5 hours of heavier snow, and if Monday pans out, wouldn't be surprised to see 24-30"
metagraphica
3 minutes ago, The 4 Seasons said: 13.7" after a full transition to sleet Very similar to what I have. 7" and 7.5" were my two measurements with a 14" depth at 8:30. Been full on sleet since 9pm.
weatherwiz
Definitely drifting going on out there. Anywhere from about 12-12.5" Went 10-15" so well within that range. Maybe even tack on another inch or two. Headed to bed...curious to see what it compacts down to when I check around 5:30

Boston Bulldog
Higher end totals in EMass will depend on how efficient the ocean enhanced stuff is once this WAA period ends in a couple hours. Given how persistent the fetch has been over the Boston area, I’d say it should produce just fine. tavwtby
I've got to say before I sign off until the morning, I'm at least 18" here and it's absolutely ripping snow, some of the best of the storm, every time I go out to have a smoke I shovel another inch or more on the same path, and it's dumping, looks like back edge approach tho, maybe some light stuff tomorrow but this has been one of the biggest storms since I've moved here, and depending on how much more piles on maybe top 5 total wise...wow, and 95% fell under 10°, quite impressive.
bristolri_wx
14" here in Bristol after measuring a few spots. A mix of snow and sleet. 27. Windy and snow is blowing and drifting. Nicest storm here in a while. Did a first pass with the snow blower but will need to do a round 2 tomorrow.
