This came true also as the orientation if the high did not squash things south but rather allowed a ene move and the precip could not rush out 

12/5 looked good from few days before Thanksgiving so onto the next analog prediction of 12/20-12/21 and maybe more before then but I don’t have that analog wise-no strong signal like 12/5.

PG and AA county spotters majorly slacking today. Got to be at least 1.5” in Greenbelt and wouldn’t be surprised if a proper snowboard measurement earlier would have been near 2”. I’m sure BWI will wait for it to melt before measuring.

And look at some of the winters ending in a 6:  1966, 1996, 2016...

A Dec 5th snow means a very good snow year! This is only the beginning! The winter will remember December!
