Same here with a dp of 20.  Not a bad airmass but I expect 3-4 degree bump when the clouds roll in. Hoping we can get a few hours of a winter wonderland tomorrow morning.

Clouds really slow coming in and we don’t want that to  backfire and have precip come in really late like after 9am

Looking at the 3k NAM the warm layer in the initial thump has been getting less pronounced over the past few runs and is really only ~1000 ft deep around 6k feet. If this layer could cool just a degree we could get a nice thump even in DC metro

we have 9 hours for a trend. that's more than enough.

Columbia 9pm — 29°, wind calm, moonlit skies (moon is worth a look tonite).  Satellite loop looks like some heavier clouds — and no doubt they would keep temps up a bit — moving steadily eastward from a line roughly from HGR thru Harrisonburg and Charlottesville.

Temp is bouncing around like crazy at Dulles.  Seesawing from 27 to 34.
