MillvilleWx
The humidity is really going to be a monster to overcome this week. Today was the "cooler" day of the heat wave and it was downright NASTY out this afternoon. 94/75 for the hi/low in my neighborhood. The dew point was able to breach 80 today in the middle of the afternoon with a majority of the time hovering around 77-79. Brutal
Mrs.J
7:15 and 81. Checked my station stats and looks like it never got lower than 80 overnight. The two Ms J’s have had tickets for a concert at Nats Stadium for a few months now. It is tonight and I am not going to lie I am concerned about them being out in these temps for it. They will be in the stands and covered but still has me worried.
kgottwald
Yesterday the extended forecast was an unbroken string of 100's with zero rain. Long-range models always exaggerate about these things. Today the afternoon storm chances begin on Wednesday, and we go back to seasonal norms with daily storm risks. Only a mini-heatwave, I guess. I do feel for my kid who is at an outside summer camp right now. Thankfully it ends at noon but she has already texted me a few times with “bruh.
