Nice , always enjoy these kind of nights , on the porch listening to the rain on the trees and runoff in the gutters ... Soaking light to moderate rain... About 0.6 on the day.. Much better start to this year so far compared to the previous two years.... Haven't looked at the numbers but seems like more moisture here so far this year than we received all the way up to August last year when Debby/tropics ramped up...

Still foggy with a heavy drizzle falling. 1.11 in gauge at 7 am reading, the 52.3 degree high held and set a record as I posted earlier. Currently 50.4/49.6.

The 1.11 no where near a daily rainfall, that goes to the 2.27 that fell back in 1981.

Yeah. Our region was in the light stuff most of the night. It started coming down harder around 3am here. I'm up to .87" so far and it's coming down pretty hard.

The coastal is getting going now. Heavier rain moving up from the S/SW in the next few hours.

0.62" so far.

We are in uncharted waters this May with an historic Nor'Easter earlier this month, and then this coastal low as a follow up.

The last several year High pressure configuration to our North is setting up a bit different so far and wondering what this will entail for the hurrucane season. Early thoughts are more home grown, closer to the coast development versus the MDR.

The active period continues on Friday afternoon and Saturdaty as well, with more energy moving in.
