Back to more sleet now 33/33, Please don't tell me I'll be holding the front lines here

Always thought it was you who kept me all snow during last January's storm. ;)

Radar returns currently show heavy snow over Spartanburg. Don't know what those on the ground are seeing.

SPA just had a recent ob of moderate snow

Nope that was me, the battle line for more snow vs sleet setup right over my house :P.  It was me and SnowNiner with 4-5” of slop/concrete, grit with a solid 7-8” of mostly snow if I remember and then you cashed in staying all snow!

Still dry here in Mooresville. Eagerly waiting on my cold rain/sleet/zr.

I'd prefer a thin layer of sleet at first.. it's a good foundation for the mountain of snow. ;)

Temp steadily dropping with the onset of heavier precip. Sleet mixed with rain near Providence and Fairview.

35.2/32.7

We can always hope. Still hoping we can get a few inches of powder down at some point.

May have to wait for the next one here in Jonesville SC. Temp is a 38 and refusing to go down. Not 1 sleet pellet or snowflake here yet. Maybe in Jan or Feb.

Sleet really picking up here now near Matthews and starting to stick to surfaces.  Wife doing some baking, just opened a Victory Sour Monkey.

Newbie here. Thank you!

Enjoy AmWx and, of course, the storm.

P.S. The 18z FV3 was essentially the same as the 12z run in terms of forecast snowfall.

Wet snowflakes starting to mix in with the sleet here uptown.

Man I'm glad to hear that. A few folks (including Eric Webber) have the idea that everybody from Charlotte to RDU are in for a sleet fest. That still may happen but if you change to snow and can stay that way, it will give me hope for my area.

interesting observation:

my temp has actually risen 0.2 degrees in the past 30 min, now at 34.3/33

mostly sleet - had a rain/snow mix 1 hour ago - no snow at all now - I have concerns for mainly ice at my location (2 miles north of I85)
